Dashboard is the “home” or "landing" page for a WebDMC user. Each user has his/her own dashboard and may choose to populate the Dashboard with widgets of choice. Widgets can be can be moved around, rearranged, and/or removed.
Think of widgets as mini-applications that are designed and capable of many different things, often to present the most needed (popular) tasks or data that would be tedious or complicated for the user to access and/or create manually.
One example is a widget for sales managers to get the most recent leads or sales activity. Another example is for the operation managers to have all the programs in operation and related tasks. We can create and populate the dashboard with as many useful widgets as needed.
